Air Treatment Unit / Air Handling Units – MAR

The MAR air treatment units series are designed and manufactured to meet the highest needs and performance of modern naval air conditioning systems, with particular attention also to the handling, installation, operation and maintenance of the product.

The MAR series air handling units are available in 13 versions suitable to meet many system requirements, with air flow rates from 1,000 to 40,500 mc / h and air duct network’s static pressures available up to 2,300 Pa. Depending on their installation space available, the air handling units are “custom made”. They can be monobloc solution and in multiple sections, easily assembled on site to facilitate boarding operations.
The main construction features are:

  • Main frame in antikorodal aluminum or in stainless steel AISI 316 L or 304;
  • Galvanized sheet panels in aluminum or stainless steel 316L or 303, made altrnatevely in 2 different thicknesses, 25 or 50 mm., and interposition of R.I.Na. approved foaming or rock wool;
  • Normal profile or galvanized sheet thickness 30/10 basements;
  • Condensate collection tray made of AISI 316L;
  • Filters efficiency according to request;
  • Heat exchange batteries with copper pipes and flaps, on request with frame in AISI 316L;
  • Centrifugal fans of primary brand type with single or double suction or plug fan type;

All the other components are of primary brand and suitable for marine environment.
The MAR series air treatment units are produced through a careful selection program which, upon request, can be supplied to the various technical studies to find information regarding the performances of the various components.

The MAR series air handling units can be supplied complete with power and control panel directly mounted on board or supplied separately. The wiring from switchboard tocontrol instruments is factory made by components and adjustment tools to the customer’s satisfaction.
The ATISA MAR series air handling units are overall compliant with the EN 1886 standard.
